The Greatest Story Ever Told

Taking The Net For Christ!

There Is A Man Who's Name,
Who's Name Is Jesus Christ.
He Came To This Earth,
All The Way From Paradise.

He Spoke Great Wisdom To So Many,
To So Many Men.
He Called Himself The Beginning,
The Beginning And The End.

The Jews Grew So Angry,
Over What He Taught,
So Putting Him To Death,
To Death Is What They Sought.

Jesus Told Them All,
That He Would Rise Again.
No Matter How They Tried,
No Never Would They End,

The Work That His Father
Had Called Him Here To Do.
Yes, This Is A Story,
That Is So Very True.

They Didn't Believe A Word,
Not A Word He Said.
They Just Shouted Out,
"We All Want Him Dead!"

As Jesus Had To Hang There,
Hang There On That Tree,
All Of Them Did Watch.
All Of Them Did See.

"Lets See If The Father,
If He Can Save This Man.
What They Did Not Know,
Is That There Was A Mighty Plan.

Jesus Shouted Out,
He Shouted One Last Cry,
"Father Please Forgive Them!"
Then His Spirit Was Lifted High.

Three Hours Of Darkest Fell,
Fell Throughout The Land,
While On A Cross There Hung,
There Hung This Mighty Man.

"Surly This Must Have Been,
The King Of The Jews!"
Right Then And There So Many,
So Many Of Them Knew.

All Of This It Took,
It Took Time To An End,
For It Was At His Death
That A New Time Did Begin.

They Placed Him In A Tomb,
In A Tomb That Night,
With A Stone In The Doorway,
Placed Secure And Tight.

Satan Thought For Sure
That He Had Won The War,
But Jesus Stood Victorious
And He Will Forever More!

He Descended Into Hades
And Stripped Away The Keys,
Setting All The Saints Of Old,
Setting Them All Free!

Jesus Christ Had Won The Battle,
Yes, For All Of Man.
Those Who Do Believe
And Except The Father's Plan.

Mary Went To Visit,
Her Lord On The Third Day,
But Instead She Saw An Angel
Who To Her Did Say.

"Jesus, He Is Not,
He Is Not Amongst The Dead,
For He Has Risen,
Just Like The Words He Said."

Jesus Met All His Disciples,
In The Upper Room.
They Were All In Shock
For He Wasn't In His Tomb.

With Scars On Both His Hands,
Both His Hands And Feet,
He Was Glorified
And All He Came For Was Complete.

He Now Sits To The Right
Of His Father Oh So Grand.
High Upon His Throne,
In A Far Away Land.

It Was The Blood He Shed,
Back Then On That Cross
That Made A Way For All Of Us,
All Of Us So Lost,

To Live Forever In Eternity
Where No One Will Grow Old.
Where Nothing Will Ever Rust
And Nothing Will Ever Mold.

Where The Streets They Say,
Are Paved In Pure Gold.
Yes, This Is The Greatest...
The Greatest Story Ever Told!
